Why choose WINSYTSEM
Rugged x86 and Arm embedded computers with power-efficient, scalable processing so the CPU class matches the application.
To keep them durable in any operating environment, products go through rigorous testing and quality checks so they run dependably and predictably, around the clock.
Engineers help identify the right product, adapt off-the-shelf hardware, or develop a custom solution — and stay on with after-sale support.
Standing up to −40 °C to +85 °C, rugged embedded designs take brutal conditions: arctic ice, blowing desert sand, and under-sea duty.
What we provide
WINSYTSEM provides embedded computing solutions including commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) products, engineering, and manufacturing. To meet custom requirements, we start from those COTS products so time to market stays short.
The product set is built for high reliability, long product life, and performance in industrial automation, security, medical and diagnostic equipment, energy, MIL/COTS, test and measurement, and transportation.
Quality commitment
WINSYTSEM is an engineering and technology solutions provider that helps clients solve real-world problems. The work is focused on embedded computing.
Quality of life for employees ultimately benefits clients. Growth opportunities and a respectful, honest workplace keep decades of engineering, support, and production experience in-house while attracting new talent for future work.
Our story
In 1982 founder and Chairman Jerry Winfield used his experience designing STD Bus cards for industrial electronics and the petroleum industry to start the company. Sandra Winfield and Robert Burckle later joined to help with early growth.
Originally known as WinTech Systems, the company specialized in industrial computing and designed some of the first STD Bus products to operate from −40 °C to +85 °C. The name became WINSYTSEM, and in 1986 operations moved to Arlington, Texas. As the customer list grew, a durable company culture developed; many of those early employees are still with the company today.
In 2019 the company relocated to larger, modern facilities in Grand Prairie, Texas to support continued growth.
