Compliance
Restricted substances, written in sentences.
We design boards to meet RoHS and to answer REACH questions with a file, not a shrug. Ask for the declaration that matches the SKU on your PO.
RoHS, for our purposes, is a materials rule about keeping certain substances out of the assembly you put in a cabinet. REACH is a longer conversation about substances of very high concern in the supply chain. Neither is a marketing badge we print on every hero image.
Catalog products are designed against current RoHS limits. When a part change is forced by a supplier, we treat it as a revision event: notice, date, and a new declaration. If a customer program needs an exemption called out by name, that belongs on the baseline, not in a hallway email.
REACH inquiries get a substance pack tied to the BOM revision you bought, not a generic PDF from three years ago. If we do not have a line of sight on a component, we say so and we chase it — we do not invent a green checkmark.
For a packet: SKU, revision, and whether you need a signed letter or a data dump. Write hello@winsytsem.org or use the inquiry form.
